In partnership with Health Midwest, the Hub is home to “The Blessing Box” a community pantry that provides canned food, toiletries, and diapering essentials to community members in need. Open 24/7 in the Flourish Church parking lot.

In partnership with We the Village, the has launched a preschool program for children with autism. We the Village -West nurtures growth in communication, social, and life skills and is committed to inclusivity, Autism awareness, and community support, creating a village where every child is seen, heard, and valued. The preschool serves children ages 0 to 5, and the afterschool program serves children ages 6 to 12.

Flourish’s Youth Mentorship program provides youth ages 13 to 21 with weekly opportunities to build meaningful connections and develop their personal and professional skills. Sessions are every Wednesday night at the Gary-Merrillville Salvation Army from 4pm to 6pm and include basketball, Bible study, guest speakers, and field trips. Transportation and a free meal are provided.

SHINE Recovery Café is an inclusive, supportive community for youth ages 13 to 18 on a path towards recovery from addiction. Through weekly recovery circles, resource referrals, and life skill education, and peer recovery coaches SHINE Recovery Youth Café serves all youth no matter the root of recovery. Sessions are every Friday from 4pm to 8pm at Flourish Church. Transportation and a free meal are provided.

NEO provides quality adult and secondary education opportunities to those who need alternative pathways to meeting their educational goals. GED classes are every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at Flourish Church. Transportation is provided.

Can We Talk is an anonymous drop-in program where community members are invited to safely share their stories of pain, grief, loss, healing from trauma or whatever is on their mind. Participants can express themselves in any form without judgement, including through music, dance and spoken word. A free community meal is also provided. Can We Talk is every first Friday from 6pm to 8pm at Flourish Church.

To address the pervasive poverty in Gary, Flourish will transform its on-site storage unit into a resource closet, offering essential items such as food, clothing, and household necessities to families in need.
