Rather than try to provide every service ourselves, we’ve intentionally built—and continue to grow—a collaborative ecosystem of trusted partners. These include schools, churches, nonprofits, local businesses, mental health providers, job readiness coaches, legal advocates, and government leaders— all committed to Gary’s renewal.

Our role is not to be the answer to every need, but to be the connector. The Flourish Community Hub Campus brings these services together in one central location, where neighbors come not just to receive support, but to contribute and lead. Through this model, residents will be able to access the services they need, all in their own neighborhood, in one centrally located, trusted space that radiates dignity, safety and possibility. We offer programs in four major service areas:

Youth aged 13 to 21 engaged in regular mentorship sessions, receiving emotional support, skill development and educational opportunities. They are also offered GED preparation, and substance abuse prevention and recovery services and more, provided by our local partner organizations. This initiative equips youth with the necessary foundation to be future leaders in the city.

Recognizing the profound impact of poverty-related stressors on mental health, the Hub is committed to supporting the emotional well-being of our community. We partner with licensed clinical professionals to offer no-cost mental health services, ensuring that individuals and families facing financial hardship have access to the care and support they need to flourish.

To address the pervasive poverty in Gary, Flourish will has transformed its on-site storage unit into a resource closet, offering essential items such as food, toiletries, baby care items, and household necessities to families in need. The closet also serves the Department of Child Services, providing them with round the clock access to items their foster families need.

To stimulate community revitalization, Flourish will establish a community co-working space in its building, fostering entrepreneurship and job creation. Additionally, childcare services will be provided to support parents in the growing remote workforce, ensuring accessibility to work and business-related activities.
